Danson House, Bexleyheath

One of my all time favourite places to capture elopements has to be Danson House. Mainly due to me being a lover of textures and stunning architecture, Danson House can truly transport you to a totally different part of the world....with the stunning porcelain steps, Grecian looking pillars, stair case of dreams & Italian Gardens opposite - Have I sold it to you yet?

Today I am reminiscing on the gorgeous day for the Boatwright family.

They chose very nearest and dearest family members for the intimate ceremony. too many flower girls to keep count and page boys that looked much cooler than their Dads! For this lowkey family that had warned me 'we don't really want much couple photos', they certainly went all out for their attire looking ultra glam and chic matching ivory suit with mini bridal dress. After a bit of convincing I eased the couple into some together shots (and I am SO glad I did).

Their evening part took place at their home, with a white marquee, cocktails flowing & wonderful singer too. I spent 1hr capturing some candid moments that included their first dance. After that I left them to party the night away & hurried back to get some previews edited.

Showing me that weddings do not have to be stressful, huge and expensive to be meaningful! Your day, your way.

I hope 2026 brings me back to Danson House again for more magical moments!
